The Society is delighted to report that both of our 2010 Fragile X Family Conferences were hugely successful.

The Fragile X Society - Scottish Family Conference

The Conference Programme can be viewed here.

The feedback from this conference was very positive and we are pleased that our families and professional guests found that it was well worth thier while to attend. We should like to thank the speakers who all gave their time freely to share  their knowledge and expertise with our families.

The Fragile X Society - AGM and Family Conference

Saturday 19 June 2010 at The Holiday Inn, Birmingham, England

The various learning differences and behavioural tendencies of children and adults with Fragile X Syndrome often place thier families, teachers and other professional personnel into challenging situations.

In order to assist and inform everyone who interacts with individuals who have fragile X,  we were delighted to have as our speaker for the whole day, Dr. Marcia Braden (Colorado Springs, USA); who is one of the few experts worldwide in the area of school education and support for children with Fragile X.

As in previous years, our creche facilities for children up to the age of 10 were gratefully taken up by our parents so that they could get the most from Dr Braden's presentations.

The Conference Programme can be viewd here. A full report of the conference can be obtained by calling us on 01371 875100 or Contacting Us and requesting this information.
