What does the service offer?
For on-line access to information about all aspects of fragile X (compiled by both family members, and by professionals who are experts in their field), please go to the What is Fragile X information page. In addition to this we also offer
- confidential support and information that is specific to your individual needs from our Family Support Workers:
Wendy takes enquiries from a range of professionals including teachers, SENCOs, teaching assistants, Educational Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, GPs – in fact absolutely anyone working with a child affected by fragile X. She has 30 years experience in special education. By contacting her directly you will be able to get information best suited to your particular needs including advice on which articles from the publication list will be the most helpful.
Jane takes enquiries from all professionals supporting adults affected by Fragile X. Social workers, health professionals, support workers or anyone supporting an adult should contact Jane to obtain information best suited to their particular needs.

- for professionals in the UK, an Associate UK membership of the Society which incurs a fee of £15.00 per annum. This entitles the member to receive invitations to our family conferences, copies to our newsletters, and access to our research and information papers. To become an Associate member of the Society please complete the 2 forms below (please note a new window will open for these forms whihc are in pdf files)' and return them to the Society with the appropriate fee. Once your application has been processed a confirmation letter will be sent to you
